Joan was having difficulty breathing last night so I called for an Ambulance. She had tests and scans and it transpired that there were clots on her lungs. Because of the recent bleed in her brain they could not give her the super clot busting drugs for fear of her stroking again. They chose a safer option of drugs which would control the size of the clots already there and prevent new clots forming.
Not sure where we will be in a months time.
